Browse programs →Done-for-you training programs from Andy Baker, co-author of Practical Programming for Strength Training and The Barbell Prescription. Twenty years of coaching intermediate-to-advanced lifters, IPF-level clients, and thousands of average guys who are tired of being average.
You're past the novice phase. You know what hard work means. Training is a priority. You haven't missed a training week in longer than you can remember.
But you're honest enough to know your program could be better.
You're tired of failing to hit numbers you should have hit years ago. And you aren't getting any younger.
Maybe you spent a decade chasing barbell strength and realized you're strong but don't look like it. Maybe you're over 40 and the programs written for 22-year-olds are starting to break you down. Maybe you're a garage lifter running the same thing you wrote for yourself three years ago and wondering why the numbers stopped moving.
You don't need another app. You don't need a 12-week transformation. You need programming written by someone who's been doing this longer than most coaches have been alive, for lifters exactly like you.

Andy Baker has been coaching lifters since 2005 and running his own gym, Baker Personal Training (formerly Kingwood Strength & Conditioning), since 2007. His clients range from Division I college athletes and IPF world champions to lifters in their 70s and 80s, and everyone in between.
He co-authored Practical Programming for Strength Training, 3rd Edition with Mark Rippetoe and The Barbell Prescription: Strength Training for Life After 40 with Dr. Jonathon Sullivan. Both books are still among the most-referenced texts in barbell training.
Andy holds the NSCA's highest credentials, is a USA Weightlifting and Starting Strength certified coach, and competed as a raw, drug-free powerlifter. He won the 2010 NASA Grand Nationals in the 198 lb raw division with a 529 squat, 380 bench, and 562 deadlift.
He served in the United States Marine Corps from 2003 to 2007, including multiple combat tours in Iraq.
